NFL: Green Bay Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks – concern for Geno Smith

The Green Bay Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL Sunday Night Game. They are concerned about the injured Geno Smith.

Thanks to a 30:13 win at the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL’s Sunday Night Game in Week 15, the Packers have taken an important step towards the playoffs.

With a 10-4 record, they can secure a playoff spot with a win against the New Orleans Saints next week.

The Seahawks, on the other hand, are 8-6 after suffering their first defeat following four wins and have suffered a setback in the battle for a playoff ticket. They had to give up first place in the NFC West to the Los Angeles Rams.

To make matters worse, Geno Smith injured his knee in the third quarter and was unable to continue playing. A diagnosis is still pending.

Green Bay Packers: Strong start to the game

The Packers, who have won eight of their last ten games and only lost to the Detroit Lions, got off to a perfect start at Lumen Field, scoring on their first two drives with touchdowns from Josh Jacobs and Romeo Doubs.

Brandon McManus added two more field goals to give the Packers a commanding 20-3 lead at halftime.

The Seahawks were able to cut the deficit to 23-13, but Doubs sealed the win with his second touchdown after a 22-yard pass from quarterback Jordan Love.

Love completed 22 of 27 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns. Jacobs ran for 94 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 42 yards. Doubs, in turn, caught passes for 40 yards and two touchdowns.

Smith had 149 yards and an interception before his injury. Backup Sam Howell then completed five of 14 passes for 24 yards, with an interception leading to Doubs’ second touchdown. He also had four sacks.
