The Washington Commanders remain one of the NFL’s in-form teams in week nine. The team of German-American rookie Brandon Coleman also won at the New York Giants on Sunday, beating them 27-22. They now have seven wins in nine games – a historic achievement for the team from the US capital: the last time Washington started a season in the US Football League with a 7-2 record was in 1996.
Coleman made his comeback for the Commanders in the victory, the offensive tackle from Berlin had recently had to sit out due to a concussion. Coleman was selected by the capital city club at position 67 in this year’s draft.
