Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New England Patriots in Super Bowl 56 – a look ahead

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are strong. The New England Patriots are again. So it’s already clear who will be in the 56th Super Bowl. And we couldn’t ask for a better duel. A (not entirely serious) look into the future.

Munich – Six game days to go. The battle for the playoffs – in cold December the hot phase begins. Who will grab the twelve coveted spots in the postseason?

Yes, you read that right. Twelve. And no, we’re not stupid (for once). We know full well that 14 teams have made the playoffs since last year.

We ask you. Even our intern, who is usually only responsible for making videos of fencers who are now also modelling, has noticed that. Or of the new dream relationship between footballer X and presenter Y. Or of all the world chess champions since 300 BC.

We’re writing about the fight for twelve play-off places, because two are already taken, of course.

Buccaneers and Patriots in the Super Bowl: you heard it here first

To two – we admit it bluntly – absolute favourite teams of the ran editorial team: the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Which we would not only show every damn Sunday, but also every Wednesday. If there were games.

Of course these two teams make it to the do-or-die games in January. Anything else would be pure speculation. And – spoiler alert – both also reach the Super Bowl. Without a doubt.

Sorry. We really don’t like to reveal this, after all, we want you to still watch the “most exciting playoffs ever” live with us. And we don’t want the other teams’ fans to feel bad either. The way you guys follow the NFL is really cute. The annual defeat of the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game – great cinema! A classic of modern football!

But come on! There is simply no way around Patriots vs Buccaneers in Super Bowl LVI.

After all, some actually managed to draft Tom Brady’s clone a year after Tom Brady left. And finally, the others have, well, Tom Brady. (Did he actually fail to reach the Super Bowl in a season he was active? We’re asking for a friendly netman.)

And shall we tell you something? We can’t wait. Pats vs. Bucs! Let’s go!

Brady, Belichick, Buschi and “Jakob’s School of Swabian “

Just imagine what will be going on with us in February.

Finally, another one of us in the Super Bowl! Jakob Johnson is not only the first German ever to score a touchdown in the NFL final, but also sweetens the countdown for us and the Patriots with his show “Jakob’s School of Swabian” (new episodes every Wednesday at 7:43 a.m. on ran.de).

Bill Belichick masters the sentence “‘s Leba isch koi Schleckhafa” brilliantly, but when it comes to “Uff ma alda Gaul lernt mr ‘s Reita”, the otherwise articulate and eager head coach gets lost. Nevertheless, the training has an effect: at the last PK before the big game, Belichick answers the question about his strategy: “Nu Inglend will de Ball haben.

In general, the advance coverage of Johnson is huge. His former gym teacher from 8A reports in a big interview with this one major German newspaper that he recognised Jacob’s talent for catching the ball even back then. Serious football sites use elaborate tactical analyses to show why the fullback works so well for the Patriots.

Meanwhile, ran auctions off 20,000 kilos of homemade spaetzle for the benefit of German Cancer Aid.

But the Buccaneers don’t miss out either. Icke’s new favourite gallery “How Thomas Edward Patrick Brady got his name” is going through the roof.

A video that is supposed to show the quarterback through the ages, on the other hand, has to be deleted – Brady’s first Super Bowl victory unfortunately dates from a time when the camera had not yet been invented.

Because Brady still runs as slowly at 44 as he did at 20 and seems to age backwards in general, the TB12 hype reaches new heights here, too. Jan Stecker and Coach Esume don’t have pizza delivered to the studio, but “first-class” avocado carpaccio and low-calorie, low-fat and low-fibre smoothies made from bananas, quince and goji berries. Yummy!

One ran competition follows the next. Via Instagram, fans can get their hands on 2×2 Super Bowl tickets, via TikTok a ten-pack of Mac Jones’ favourite cigars. On our new Pinterest account, the grand prize awaits: a ski trip in Kamchatka for five with Frank “Buschi” Buschmann, who is reliving his ranNFL past in light of the best Super Bowl ever.

We all win

What will be the outcome of the grand finale on February 13? Well, even we don’t know yet. Unlike national and international transfer rumours, we’re unfortunately not infallible when it comes to Super Bowl predictions (for example, we really thought a 28-3 lead would be enough for Atlanta).

But we don’t really care whether Brady or Belichick wins. We all won with this dream of a matchup anyway.

So look forward to more Brady content in the coming weeks. Here’s to more Patriots galleries. To more Belichick picture posts. Here’s to the word “jitters” in every damn text.
