Super Bowl LVI: Rap icons to perform at halftime show

The NFL has announced the artists for the halftime show at Super Bowl LVI (LIVE on ProSieben) in Los Angeles. The organisers are counting on West Coast hip-hop greats to perform.

Munich – The NFL has officially announced who will perform at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in Los Angeles.

According to the announcement, the organisers have chosen rap stars Dr Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige. So hip-hop fans in particular will get their money’s worth.

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar grew up on the West Coast and shaped the special musical style from the famous Compton neighbourhood in LA. So the connection to the Super Bowl from SoFi Stadium is a given.

Super Bowl LVI will take place on the night of 13 February and will of course be shown LIVE on ProSieben, including the half-time show.
