Super Bowl 2025: ticket prices in free fall

Apparently, tickets for the Super Bowl are not as sought after as in previous years. Prices are dropping drastically.

Tickets for the Super Bowl are considered some of the most expensive in the sports world.

Five-figure sums are often paid for a single ticket on the secondary market.

It is therefore all the more surprising that ticket prices for Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans are rapidly falling, according to media reports.

TMZ Sports, referring to the resale app Gametime, reports that prices are falling the closer we get to the Super Bowl. The “cheapest” ticket costs around 4,300 US dollars.

This is still a lot of money. However, last Friday prices started at $5,800, and two weeks ago they were still at $6,300.

Other media outlets have made similar observations. According to Forbes.com, 50-yard tickets for the Super Bowl on the resale market cost almost 60% less than a week ago. This makes it almost certain that this year’s final between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will not be the most expensive in NFL history.

Prices are significantly cheaper than for last year’s Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas. According to Gametime, the cheapest ticket for that game cost $8,764. The most expensive single ticket was said to have been $37,620.

The tickets are also considerably cheaper than for the first meeting between the Chiefs and Eagles in the Super Bowl in Glendale in February 2023. The cheapest ticket at that time was offered for $6,264, and the most expensive ticket for $33,042.
