Super Bowl 2025: NFL announces guest appearance at Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show

Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans. Now the NFL has announced which star will make a guest appearance at halftime.

Kendrick Lamar has been confirmed as the headliner of the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show for quite some time.

As the NFL has now announced, four-time Grammy Award winner SZA will be guest starring with Lamar.

The collaboration is not coming out of nowhere. “SZA” is featured on Kendrick Lamar’s current album “GXT” as a singer on two songs (Gloria & Luther).

This is not Lamar’s first appearance at the Super Bowl. In 2022, the rapper performed in Los Angeles together with Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.

“Rap music is the most important music genre worldwide. I will show people why that is with my performance. The NFL has chosen the right person,” Lamar said after his appearance was announced.

This year’s Super Bowl will take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The participating teams will be determined from the championship games between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders, and the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
