Owners of the Carolina Panthers confident about games with fans

Some TV stations are already working on a solution to play back tunes from the tape during NFL broadcasts if necessary. David Tepper, owner of the Carolina Panthers, hopes to have stadiums visited in the fall.

Optimism through more tests
“You certainly won’t be able to fill the stadiums, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t have fans in the stadium at all,” Tepper told CNBC: “If you allow airplanes to fly in narrow spaces with gaps between seats, then maybe you’ll be able to open up open-air stadiums.

He draws his optimism from the fact that test capacities in the United States are to be significantly increased in the fall: “We should then also have enough tests so that all players are 100 percent safe,” he continued.

He also mentioned the resumption of play in European football leagues, above all the Bundesliga. “There should always be a proportion of fans in the stadium, of course taking into account local requirements and rules,” he concluded.
