Following another concussion, the Miami Dolphins have placed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on the IR list. The playmaker had previously sought help from neurologists

Bitter but expected setback for the Miami Dolphins!

As “ESPN” insider Adam Schefter reports, the franchise has placed their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on the IR list. This means the playmaker will miss at least four games.

It will give the 26-year-old at least a month to continue receiving medical advice while he rehabs his latest concussion.

It was previously reported that Tagovailoa is apparently seeking help from neurologists after suffering his third concussion in three years as he battles to continue his NFL career.

As “ESPN” reports, the Miami Dolphins quarterback will meet with specialists for talks early this week.

But: According to “NFL Network” insider Ian Rapoport, the signal caller has no intention of ending his career. “My understanding is that Tua Tagovailoa has no plans to end his career,” Rapoport told ”NFL GameDay on NFL Network.”

Tagovailoa crashed head first into the upper arm of Damar Hamlin in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills (10:31) late in the third quarter and went down. His fingers cramped up and the Hawaiian had to be treated for a long time, but was able to leave the field on his own.

Experts and alumni recommended that Tagovailoa quit football. “I hate to say it. But his concussions are getting worse, and he’s a young man with his whole life ahead of him,” wrote former NFL pro and current TV host Shannon Sharpe on ‘X’. Last year, Tagovailoa had already considered retiring
