The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are meeting with Will Levis for talks. The talented quarterback is considered a sure-fire first-round pick and could compete with Baker Mayfield for the starter’s job in Tampa
Does Baker Mayfield have to fear for his starter’s job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
The NFC South franchise will meet with quarterback Will Levis on April 12. This is according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero.
The Bucs were already talking to the 23-year-old playmaker at the Scouting Combine. So it’s safe to assume Tom Brady’s ex-team will make a run at Levis in the draft.

Problem: The Buccaneers only have the 19th pick – but most experts believe the quarterback will be selected much earlier.
The Tennessee Titans (11th pick) and Indianapolis Colts (4th pick) are also believed to be interested, with both teams also already meeting with the talent.
Levis threw for 5,232 yards and 43 touchdowns with 23 interceptions in his two years at Kentucky.
It wasn’t until March that the Buccaneers signed Mayfield as their new quarterback.
