Jets star Sauce Gardner had made a very spicy accusation against Patriots quarterback Mac Jones after the game against New England. The NFL chose not to punish the quarterback.
After the New England Patriots’ 15-10 win over the New York Jets, Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner made an explosive accusation.
“He’s trying to prevent me from having kids in the future,” Gardner said of Jones on “SNYtv” after the game. The reference was to Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who Gardner said punched him in the abdomen during the game.
The NFL did not fine Jones after an investigation into the incident, saying there was not enough evidence to accuse him of intentional misconduct.
In response to Gardner’s accusation, the signal caller denied any misconduct after the game in relation to a blow to his opponent’s private parts. He instead analysed the game matter-of-factly as “definitely a physical game”.
For the Jets, the loss to the Pats was already the second in a row in the current NFL season.
Only the opener was a 22-16 win for the franchise from New York against the Buffalo Bills.
