Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has returned from finger surgery and says he’s ready for a comeback this weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
Munich/Seattle – Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson spoke to reporters for the first time Thursday about a possible comeback this weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
“It feels like a fresh start and it’s time to finally get going again,” Wilson told “ESPN.” “I feel great. I might not be at 100 per cent yet, but I’m very close. I would say at 90 per cent or more. My hand feels good. I’m ready to play and I’m going to do everything I can to make sure we win.”
Wilson had only returned to team training this week after overcoming a finger injury.

Wilson out for first time due to injury
Wilson suffered a right middle finger injury just about four weeks ago during the game against the Los Angeles Rams and subsequently missed three Seahawks games due to injury.
It was the first time ever Wilson missed a game due to injury since starting his NFL career in 2012.
The superstar’s comeback is significant for the Seahawks. The team currently stands at a 3-5 record, but with Wilson now in the fold, they should still attack the playoffs. Seattle are just one win away from a play-off spot.
