For Nick Bosa the Wild Card game against the Dallas Cowboys is over after the second quarter. The San Francisco 49ers pass rusher suffers a head injury.
Munich/Dallas – Bitter news for the San Francisco 49ers despite making the Divisional Playoffs with a 23-17 win at the Dallas Cowboys.
With Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, two important pillars in the Californians’ defence retired early from the game.
Star pass rusher Bosa suffered a head injury in a collision with teammate D.J. Jones in the second quarter and did not return to the field after halftime.
It is not yet known how serious Bosa’s injury is. The 24-year-old is on concussion protocol. His use against the Green Bay Packers is therefore in the balance.
Linebacker Warner could also be out. However, the severity of his injury is not clear. The linebacker twisted his ankle in the last quarter.
