The San Francisco 49ers and Jimmy Garoppolo seem to be going their separate ways. At a press conference, the quarterback hinted at his departure several times and also addressed a few words to 49ers fans.

San Francisco/Munich – The signs between Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers are goodbye.

Although the quarterback admitted in a press round that no decisions had been made yet, between the lines a separation was now becoming increasingly clear.

Garoppolo addresses words to the fans: “See you “

Accordingly, Jimmy G has already had a conversation with General Manager John Lynch and now expects “things to happen pretty quickly”. Garoppolo continued, “I knew something like that could happen at some point. You can never be fully prepared for moments like this. I have a long career ahead of me and I just want to go to a team where you want to win.”

Turning to 49ers fans, Garoppolo said, “It’s been a hell of a ride, guys, and I love you. So I’ll see you around.”

While San Francisco already has its starting quarterback of the future in Trey Lance, it appears Garoppolo’s journey now continues with another team.
