Dolphins star Jalen Ramsey is reportedly on the verge of a trade. According to one report, the star cornerback will not attend the franchise’s minicamp.
The Dolphins are about to start their mandatory minicamp. However, one pro will be missing. At least that’s what Ian Rapoport from the NFL Network is reporting.
According to the report, Jalen Ramsey will not be attending training camp. This is also because the star cornerback is still expected to be traded.
Dolphins out – where will Ramsey go?
The franchise has been preparing for the departure of the 30-year-old for some time. A departure from Miami is becoming increasingly likely, and head coach Mike McDaniel is no longer planning with him. “We have decided that it would be in the best interest of all parties involved to part ways in the future,” Miami general manager Chris Grier said a few weeks ago.
The question remains: Where will the 2021 Super Bowl winner go next? He previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Los Angeles Rams before being traded to the Dolphins in 2023.
In 2024, he made 60 tackles in 17 appearances, along with 11 passes defended and two interceptions.
