The Philadelphia Eagles are going back to the Kelly Green Throwback Jerseys for the 2023 season. Additionally, there will also be a different helmet colour next season for the Eagles.

Munich/Philadelphia – The Philadelphia Eagles confirmed Tuesday the return of the popular Kelly Green Throwback Jerseys for the 2023 season. Additionally, there will also be a different helmet colour in 2022 for the Eagles, Bleacher Report reports.

The NFL had previously changed a rule requiring teams to have one set helmet colour per season. As a result, Jeffrey Luri the owner of the Eagles announced that the team would compete with matching black helmets in their black alternate jersey next season.

While fans will have to wait another year or so to see the team in the familiar throwback jerseys once worn by legends such as Reggie White and Randall Cunningham, the anticipation is building.
