Panthers and Saints submit offers for Watson

A trade of Deshaun Watson is becoming more concrete. The Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints have now reportedly submitted offers to the Houston Texans.

Munich – A trade of Deshaun Watson is becoming more and more concrete.

Both the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints are now said to have submitted a trade offer for the Houston Texans quarterback. This is according to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

Court also waives charges

Last Friday, a grand jury had decided not to indict the 26-year-old on abuse charges.

Even though 22 women had made allegations against the NFL star and civil lawsuits continue to loom, this cleared the way for a trade.

Three first round picks and more for Watson

Watson didn’t play a game for the Texans last season and had called for a trade.

According to Pelissero, the Texans are asking for at least three first round picks for Watson. Several teams are said to be willing to pay that price.
