Jameis Winston could come to New York to play for the Giants. Despite other big names being traded, he is said to be in talks with the team.

The New York Giants are still waiting for an answer from Aaron Rodgers, according to an NBC report. Meanwhile, they are also preparing for a rejection and talking to other candidates.

A conversation between the 31-year-old Jameis Winston and the Giants’ management is scheduled for Tuesday. In addition, Russell Wilson and Joe Flacco are being considered as options in case of a rejection from Rodgers.

Winston was the first pick in the 2015 draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played for the Cleveland Browns last season.

He played in 12 games, starting seven, and completed 2,121 passing yards with 13 touchdowns. He appeared in 105 games for the Buccaneers, Saints and Browns, completing almost 25,000 passing yards and throwing for 154 touchdowns.
