NFL: Washington Football Team – David Bada receives Future Contract

Good news from a German perspective: Defensive End David Bada receives a Future Contract with the Washington Football Team and is thus once again eligible to audition for the NFL.

Munich/Washington – David Bada will get another chance to audition for the NFL with the Washington Football Team. The team announced that the defensive end is one of 16 players who have been signed to a future or reserve contract.

Bada in particular is entering his second year under the NFL’s International Pathway Program, according to the franchise.

So far, the 26-year-old is still waiting for his first league call-up. However, he was able to prove himself in last season’s preseason, but then missed out on making the final 53-man squad due to a knee injury.

“I look forward to continuing to work with all the young men we have signed to reserve and future contracts,” Head Coach Ron Rivera is quoted as saying on the team website. “These men have worked extremely hard this season and deserve the opportunity to come back and prove themselves as we enter the 2021 offseason programme. “
