Towards the end of the second quarter, a wild brawl breaks out during the NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders.
While Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ran into the end zone from close range to make it 20-12, Eagles receiver AJ Brown and Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore got into a fight near the end zone.
It was a real dogfight: the two fought each other for several seconds, wrestling and choking each other and pulling at each other’s helmets until Lattimore lost his head protection.
However, the referees only threw a flag against the Commanders defender.
This was doubly bitter from Lattimore’s point of view: Shortly before half-time, Brown also caught the touchdown to make it 27:15 at half-time.
