Many Washington Commanders fans are likely to make their way to Philadelphia for the NFC Championship Game.
The two NFL Conference Championship Games are coming up. Who will make it to the Super Bowl? Who will fail just before the finish line?
On Sunday, the first championship game is scheduled. In the NFC duel, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Washington Commanders.
About three and a half hours later, the Buffalo Bills will face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC showdown.
Both the Eagles and the Chiefs had thus secured the supposed home field advantage.
But does this really happen?
As a report by the ticketing company “TickPick” shows, around 20 percent of all ticket purchases for Eagles vs. Commanders come from Virginia and Maryland – the two US states near Washington, D.C..
So Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will also be in the hands of all the Commanders’ supporters. Although it should be noted that the distance between the two cities of the teams is only 200 kilometers as the crow flies.
Will the Eagles put up with that? The fans from Philadelphia are known to be very passionate – and not necessarily hospitable.
