NFL – Minnesota Vikings: Wide receiver Jordan Addison arrested again

Jordan Addison is causing problems again. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver has been arrested once more.

Wide receiver Jordan Addison of the Minnesota Vikings from the NFL was arrested on Monday morning in Tampa, Florida.

According to local authorities, the 23-year-old was picked up by police at 3:46 a.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Addison was charged with “trespassing in an inhabited building or conveyance.” He was released after posting $500 bail.

“I don’t want to speculate in any way,” Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said Tuesday at his season-ending press conference, emphasizing, “We need to gather as many facts as possible and find out exactly what happened. Speculation would be incredibly premature at this point.”

Minnesota Vikings: Addison a problem case

The arrest is one of a series of incidents: 18 months ago, Addison was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of drunk driving, later pleading guilty to a lesser offense.

The NFL subsequently suspended him for the first three games of the 2025 season. In July 2023, Addison was caught recklessly driving at 140 miles per hour (225 km/h) in a 55-mile zone.

In terms of performance, the 2023 first-round pick fell short of expectations in his third season: In 14 games, he caught 42 passes for 610 yards and three touchdowns – all career lows. Whether Minnesota will exercise the fifth-year option remains to be seen. General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah emphasized: “Jordan is unique because he is a joy 99 percent of the time. But we also have to consider the other days.”
