The NFL playoffs are just around the corner! Seven teams have already qualified for the postseason.
Only four more matchdays to go before the 2024 NFL season draws to a close. At least the regular season. Because after that, the playoffs await – and the fight for the Super Bowl title.
While the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC and the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC have already secured their place in the playoffs in recent weeks, three teams were able to follow suit in week 15.
In the AFC, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans secured their place in the postseason, so only three more spots are up for grabs there. In the NFC, one team joined them on Sunday night, without even having played.
The Minnesota Vikings secured their playoff spot before they even had to play in the Monday Night Game against the Chicago Bears.
The Vikings were helped by the Seattle Seahawks losing to the Green Bay Packers 13:30 in the Sunday Night Game. This means that the Vikings are also in the post-season.
