Odell Beckham Jr. was seriously injured in the Super Bowl. He is without a team after his contract expires, but the Los Angeles Rams are reportedly looking to extend the deal – just like the receiver.
Munich – His road back to the field will take a long time. But Odell Beckham Jr. might not have to pack his bags and move before he makes his comeback.
OBJ tore his cruciate ligament in the Super Bowl. After his one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams expires, he will be without a team starting in March. According to “NFL Network”, however, the receiver and his previous franchise are very interested in extending their cooperation.
When asked by NFL.com in February whether he would give up money to stay with the Rams, OBJ replied “of course”. According to the report, he had found “a home” in California.
Odell Beckham Jr. would have to give up money to Rams
He would probably have to do without money in any case, though, as the Rams don’t have much in the way of cap space. A possible new contract might not be that high anyway, as his return from injury is not planned until November, and thus in the middle of the current season.
After unhappy years in Cleveland, OBJ was released by the Browns in November 2021. He subsequently joined the Rams and won the Super Bowl outright with the team.
