NFL: International Games 2025 – Minnesota Vikings set a new precedent

The Vikings will be traveling at the start of the upcoming NFL season, setting a new record in the process.

The “N” in NFL stands for “national,” and for decades, games in the world’s best football league were played exclusively in the US.

However, as the NFL seeks to tap into more international markets, games have been taking place all over the world for several years now.

The players are now used to traveling and playing in unfamiliar stadiums.

But the Minnesota Vikings have a trip coming up next season that is unprecedented in the history of the NFL.

Vikings to play in Dublin and London

The team led by quarterback J.J. McCarthy and star receiver Justin Jefferson will face the Atlanta Falcons in Dublin in Week 4. The game will be the first NFL game ever played in Ireland.

In Week 5, the Vikings will then travel to London to play the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Since the Vikings will be playing in the US on the three previous game days, they will be the first team in NFL history to play in three different countries within a year or a season.

The complete NFL schedule for the upcoming season has not yet been announced, but there are many indications that the Vikings will get a bye week in Week 6 after their grueling travel schedule.
