NFL – Dallas Cowboys: Sexual assault allegations against Dak Prescott dropped for now

The sexual assault allegations against Dak Prescott have been dropped – but only for now.

Dak Prescott will no longer face sexual assault charges – at least not in Dallas County.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in 2017. Now a judge in Dallas County has dismissed the case on April 16.

The accuser is demanding 100 million US dollars to waive prosecution.

According to “CBS”, court documents show that the current case against Prescott is over, but could be reopened in the future.

Immediately after the dismissal of the case was announced, a lawyer made it clear that the plaintiff’s side had withdrawn the charges in Dallas County and now plans to refile them in Collin County.

This will involve further investigation into the allegations that Prescott assaulted the woman in the parking lot of the strip club “XTC Cabaret”. She claims it was sexual assault

The whole thing is said to have happened in 2017 – after Prescott’s rookie season with the Cowboys.

Prescott, for his part, filed a countersuit some time ago, claiming he was being blackmailed by the woman. According to his statement, the crime he is accused of never took place.

Prescott page: “A blackmail case “

“As we have said from the beginning, the ridiculous allegations made by Ms. Shores and her team are completely false and criminal. In Texas, it is against the law to extort anyone for any amount of money – and this is just that – an extortion,” Prescott’s attorney said in a statement.

Prescott is demanding one million US dollars from the accuser – she, on the other hand, is probably still insisting on the 100 million US dollars and is now probably trying it in another county.
