Fan loyalty pays off: A Philadelphia Eagles star surprised the owner of a fan account at his graduation ceremony.

Jalyx Hunt, a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, caused a stir with a lovely gesture. The 25-year-old attended the graduation ceremony of a student who runs a fan account for the Eagles star.

Hunt, whose Instagram username is @lock.down_j, posted a photo on his Instagram Story of his fan’s graduation ceremony—tagging the fan’s page—and wrote: “I’m locked.”

NFL Fan Overwhelmed by Hunt’s Visit

In a later post, the fan expressed how overwhelmed he was by his idol’s presence. He captioned a photo with Hunt: “WHAT A DAY FOR THE CLUB. Thanks for everything, Jalyx. That was something special, bro.”

Hunt was drafted by Philadelphia in the third round in 2024. After primarily serving as a backup during his rookie season, the defensive player increasingly established himself as a key contributor in his second year.

Eagles: Hunt Makes Breakthrough in Second Year

The 1.91-meter giant started all 17 games, nine of which he began as a starter. He racked up an impressive 6.5 sacks and 52 tackles, nine of which resulted in a loss of field position for opposing teams.

He also impressed as a turnover machine. With three interceptions, he tied for fourth place among all linebackers in the NFL, ahead of top stars like T.J. Watt and Lavonte David. He even returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown. He also forced two fumbles.
