NFL superstar Odell Beckham Jr. has undergone successful surgery after his cruciate ligament tear. The 29-year-old also has reason to be happy off the field.

Los Angeles /Munich – After his cruciate ligament injury in the Super Bowl, NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. has undergone successful surgery.

Beckham Jr. suffered a torn cruciate ligament in the first half of the Los Angeles Rams’ duel with the Cincinnati Bengals and had to watch the rest of the game, with tears in his eyes, from the sidelines. It was the same knee on which he had already suffered a cruciate ligament tear one and a half years ago.

Now the 29-year-old, who will become a free agent, spoke out on Instagram and reported that “the surgery was a success”. He then went on to announce that he would be back on the field. Beckham Jr.’s long road back will certainly be helped by the fact that he recently became a father for the first time.

His son Zydn was born on 17 February and at the moment of his birth he was aware that “my life was going to change for the better”.
