Derek Carr is entering the final year of his contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. Several teams are said to have inquired about the quarterback with the franchise – and not without reason.
Munich – In the NFL, there are currently more teams looking for a franchise quarterback than there are. That’s exactly why the Washington Commanders have already talked to every team that might have such a playmaker available.
And that’s reportedly exactly why “multiple teams” have expressed interest in Raider quarterback Derer Carr, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The 30-year-old is entering the final year of his five-year, $125 million contract signed in 2017.
No talks yet between Carr and the Raiders
There have been no talks yet about extending the contract, according to new head coach Josh McDaniel. Until that changes, the Raiders are likely to get a call or two.
2022, by the way, Carr will earn $19.8 million, 15th among quarterbacks in the league.
