On Thursday, Jamal Adams of the New York Jets asked his franchise for a trade. In a mobile phone video, the Safety now also reveals his favourite target: the Dallas Cowboys.
After the failed contract negotiations with the New York Jets, Safety asked Jamal Adams to be traded last week. Now Adams has apparently told a passer-by in his jeep his preferred destination. Too bad that he filmed the short exchange of words.
In the mobile phone video, which according to media reports was taken near Dallas on Sunday, a fan recognized Adams in his Mercedes and asked: “Are you coming to Dallas?” Adams’s answer: “I’m trying, bro!”

Jamal Adams grew up near Dallas
The cowboys were already considered a possible target for Safety, who grew up nearby. The jets have yet to comment on Adams’ trade request. As “ESPN” reports, the team has no intention of handing over the top performer. Team officials of the Cowboys are therefore not yet allowed to meet Adams according to NFL regulations.
Adams is under contract with the New Yorkers until the end of the 2021 season. According to ESPN, the franchise does not want to talk about an extension until next year, whereas Adams is already insisting on a new, better-paid contract after an all-pro season.
