We certainly don’t want to give him more than what he already has. He’s seen it all a million times. You don’t pass the ball.”

Belichick even indulged in a little praise of Aaron Rodgers: “He doesn’t make a lot of mistakes – he never has. He’s a very resourceful quarterback. He makes the plays that are there, and he makes a couple of plays that aren’t really there. And then he rarely makes a mistake when he has a bad play. There are very, very few of those. “

He has a lot of freedom and he makes a lot of good decisions,” said the three-time Coach of the Year.

While Rodgers won the first meeting with Belichick in 2014 (26-21), the New England Patriots had the better end on their side in 2018 (31-17). In those games Rodgers completed 48 of 81 passes for 627 yards and four touchdowns (no interceptions).
