Green Bay Packers beat Los Angeles Rams to keep playoff chances alive – LA eliminated

The Green Bay Packers keep their playoff chances alive with a win over the Los Angeles Rams at icy Lambeau Field. The Super Bowl winners, on the other hand, are eliminated from the race for the postseason.

The Green Bay Packers kept their chances of making the NFL playoffs alive by beating the Los Angeles Rams 24-12 in the Monday Night Game to close out the 15th day of play.

At home in Lambeau Field, the Cheeseheads put on a composed performance in freezing temperatures and came away with a balanced game that featured 30 passes and 35 runs.

Running back A.J. Dillon scored two rushing touchdowns, but later had to leave the field with a suspected concussion. Aaron Jones also got on the score sheet with a touchdown after a pass from quarterback superstar Aaron Rodgers.

Rams eliminated from playoff race

Rodgers, meanwhile, completed 22 of 30 passes for 229 yards, a touchdown and another interception. His counterpart Baker Mayfield had a much weaker day and only managed 111 passing yards, a touchdown to tight end Tyler Higbee and an interception.

The Rams are officially out of the playoff race with just four wins in now ten losses – and as current Super Bowl winners. The Packers, on the other hand, remain in the running for the postseason with a record of 6-8.
