Green Bay Packers: Aaron Rodgers is venomous against pharma companies – ‘bad guy’ image fuelled

Aaron Rodgers is mad at the pharmaceutical industry. The Green Bay Packers star quarterback blames the medical manufacturers for his bad image

Aaron Rodgers is taking issue with the pharmaceutical industry. The Green Bay Packers quarterback blames the USA’s vaccine manufacturers for his poor public image.

On the “Pat McAfee Show”, Rodgers launched an all-out attack on “Big Pharma”.

The 39-year-old said of Pfizer, a company made famous worldwide by the Corona pandemic, for example: “Radio shows that might have been sponsored by Pfizer in the past have to make sure that their villain is put in the right light.”

At the same time, he also suggested that his statements had been taken out of context, with only individual sentences being picked out.

Aaron Rodgers: Packers quarterback criticises pharmaceutical company

It’s secondary, he said, “whether these radio shows are sponsored by Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson or whoever. If you mess with the big guys, they’re going to portray you in a certain light,” the quarterback star added.

Rodgers has not been vaccinated against the corona virus and had caused a stir several times in the past with sometimes bizarre statements and conspiracy theories surrounding the issue of corona vaccination.

But it was not only the pharmaceutical companies and their partners that got their comeuppance. Rodgers also feels wrongly treated by reporters in general: “And that’s exactly what the media did to me a few years ago. I was kind of a bad guy in the public eye. I’m OK with that, it’s their right to report and the targeted coverage of me was probably their goal at that moment. “

Aaron Rodgers: Packers star lied about vaccination status to play

The Packers quarterback had long been cryptic about his vaccination status. He was allowed to play anyway – actually a clear violation of NFL rules.

“I’m immunised” Rodgers had argued during the height of the Corona pandemic despite his lack of vaccinations – and completed his meetings and press conferences without mouth-nose protection, contrary to what the NFL mandated.

But instead of admitting to lying about his vaccination status and admitting that he led the entire league around by the nose, Rodgers is now looking to blame the media. The media were instrumentalised by the pharmaceutical companies to give him a “bad guy” image.
