Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott work out together again – Soon to be reunited at Dallas Cowboys?

Are the two buddies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott soon to be reunited? At the very least, the star running back and Cowboys quarterback are currently training together.

For seven years, Ezekiel Elliott played for the Dallas Cowboys before being released by the franchise in March of this year. But despite the dismissal, the star running back is still toiling alongside longtime companion Dak Prescott.

As the Cowboys quarterback confirmed to US reporters during the week, he and his buddy Elliott work out together on and off the field. No wonder, after all, the two also played together for “America’s Team” for seven years since 2016.

Prescott on Elliott: “I’m his biggest fan “

“He’s my best friend,” Prescott said, “We’ll keep working together, keep pushing each other. He makes a good impression. I look forward to every opportunity he gets and I’ll always be his biggest fan.”

The Cowboys had decided to let Elliott go in the offseason in favour of cap-space savings. Dallas is also apparently counting 100 percent on “Zeke’s” former running back teammate Tony Pollard, but he is battling back from a fractured fibula.

Elliott training at home with Prescott

Elliott has been without a team since his ejection. It’s also why the 27-year-old continues to keep fit in private. Most of Prescott and Elliott’s workouts together take place at the quarterback’s home, according to a report on Fox Sports. Prescott owns a 55-yard grass field there.

In the past, Elliott and other Cowboys players have repeatedly trained at Prescott’s estate. The latter was anything but happy about the dismissal of his buddy, as he openly admitted.

Elliott comeback with the Cowboys?

That’s another reason Prescott had advocated Elliott’s return throughout the offseason. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also talked about a comeback, saying he would “never” close the door completely on Elliott.

But as of now, Prescott and Elliott will not be on the field together next season. At least not in an NFL game, because they will certainly continue to practice at Prescott’s home for a bit.
