Carolina Panthers criticized: “Bryce Young could only fail”

Bryce Young is no longer the starting quarterback of the Carolina Panthers. That brings a lot of criticism, including from former Super Bowl winner James White

It was a bang that the Carolina Panthers caused earlier this week.

Only shortly after the disappointing 3:26 at the Los Angeles Chargers, it was announced that quarterback Bryce Young was going to the bench for the time being. The number one pick from last season has to make way for Andy Dalton.

There was approval for this decision, but also a lot of criticism. Former running back and three-time Super Bowl champion James White did not hold back in his podcast “Money Down”.

“Bryce could only have failure, the Panthers didn’t do anything about it,” criticized the former New England Patriot.

The solution? “Let the guys sit behind an experienced quarterback, let them develop in practice and when they’re ready to play, they’ll play.” White said this particularly with regard to the current rookie quarterbacks, most of whom have disappointed so far.

White’s ex-team shows how it’s done: “We (the Patriots) still leave Drake Maye on the bench, for example. We don’t throw him in there too early,” White praised the team with which he won the Super Bowl in 2014, 2016 and 2018.
