The Arizona Cardinals have some good news for a change: Franchise players Kyler Murray and Budda Baker are back in practice. However, an assignment in week seven will probably come too soon.
310 and days had passed since quarterback Kyler Murray was back on the practice field more or less unrestricted.
The €230-million playmaker rejoined his teammates after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament against the New England Patriots in December.
“I’m incredibly happy, he’s our franchise quarterback after all,” Head Coach Jonathan Gannon expressed his satisfaction. “From now on, we’ll work every day to get him playing as soon as possible. “

Arizona Cardinals: Budda Baker also returns
But the Cardinals can’t just be happy about the return of their franchise quarterback. Strong safety Budda Baker also returned to practice in Glendale.
Baker wasn’t out quite as long as his playmaker. He suffered a hamstring injury just before week two and was subsequently placed on the Injured Reserve List.
A 21-day window now begins for both players. Within those 21 days, they must be activated from the IR list and PUP list respectively for the 53-man squad.
Hope for the game against the Seattle Seahawks, however, is probably not in order in either case. The Cardinals are 1-5 so far with quarterback Joshua Dobbs.
