Antonio Brown is a free agent and taunts Tom Brady

After his inglorious exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Antonio Brown is now a free agent. The 33-year-old also taunts Tom Brady

Tampa Bay/Munich – NFL scandal pro Antonio Brown is officially a free agent again.

After being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has now also left the waiver list behind and can now rejoin any NFL team.

Brown had run off the field into the locker room during the game against the New York Jets after tearing his jersey off his body earlier in the game. The dispute over an injury is said to have been the reason for his action, according to Brown.

Antonio Brown: Tom Brady is my friend

Now, however, the eccentric wide receiver has strong words for Bucs QB Tom Brady, who recently offered his support to Brown.

“To me, a friend is someone who has your back. Not everybody on your team is your friend. Why is Tom Brady my friend? Because I’m a good football player and he needs me to play football,” Brown confidently explained on the “Full Send” podcast. “Brady can’t play on his own. But you media make it seem like he’s this hero,” Brown opined.

“Why does AB have a contract by having to prove himself first? “

Brady is the Bucs’ general manager, with whom his agent negotiated the contract, Brown reported. “Brady is the middleman and politician.” But now the 33-year-old Brown is accusing his friend of paying him poorly. “If Tom Brady is my buddy, why don’t I play for a real salary,” Brown said.

He added: “Rob Gronkowski is his buddy too, right? How much does he get? And then why does AB have a contract by having to prove himself first?”

Earlier, AB had lashed out at Bucs coach Bruce Arians. Now he’s a free agent, but after his escapades in Florida with the Buccaneers, it seems doubtful Brown will even get another chance in the NFL.
