Professional football player Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills has been released from hospital eight days after suffering cardiac arrest in an NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 24-year-old will continue his recovery at home and with the Bills’ medical staff, the Buffalo hospital’s attending physician announced.
Hamlin had been flown from Cincinnati to Buffalo on Monday for further medical examinations and a battery of neurological tests.
Hamlin had suffered a cardiac arrest after a collision with an opponent and had to be resuscitated.
