Tyreek Hill is fast. Very fast. Defensive backs in the NFL aren’t the only ones who know that. In an official track and field competition, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver dominated a sprint almost at will.
Tyreek Hill doesn’t just run cornerbacks in the NFL. He also runs away from track and field athletes.
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver took part in the USA Track and Field Masters Indoor Championships of the US Athletics Federation (USATF) in Louisville at the weekend and literally left his competitors standing in the 60-metre dash.
The 29-year-old completed the distance in 6.70 seconds. A fabulous time!
Nearly behind the Olympic decathlon champion
This was just two hundredths of a second above the personal best of Damian Warner, Olympic decathlon champion in Tokyo.
In his heat in the 25 to 29 age group, “Cheetah” ultimately won by 0.57 seconds. So he sprinted in his own world.

Hill jokes on Twitter
After the job was done, however, the 2019 Super Bowl winner and multiple award-winning sprinter in his younger years simultaneously made it clear that this was a one-time trip down memory lane.
“Never running again, it did make me look a little wild,” he joked about the footage, which caused amazement not only in the NFL.
Continuing, Hill wrote, “All the track guys were pissed and like, ‘Hey, didn’t I beat you in high school, dude?””
Praise from Devon Hill
Responding to a tweet of praise from hurdler Devon Allen, who has been trying out for the Philadelphia Eagles as a wide receiver since last season, he said, “If Mama Hill taught me one thing, it’s that you can’t make everyone happy, so do what makes you happy.”
Fortunately for all NFL fans, for Hill that’s mostly football.
