Tom Brady: Wife Gisele Bündchen wants ‘more presence’ from her husband

Tom Brady started his 23rd NFL season last weekend. After a long silence, wife Gisele Bündchen is now speaking out about the GOAT’s comeback. In doing so, she explains what the problem is for her and why she can still understand the decision.

Munich – After quarterback Tom Brady officially announced that he would be returning to the NFL after all, despite his retirement, there was a lot of talk. A lot from the media and players and a little less from Brady himself. Only one remained silent for a long time: Brady’s wife Gisele Bündchen – that has now changed.

In an interview with Elle magazine, the Brazilian broke her silence, confirming in large part what many had already assumed. “Of course I worry – American football is a very tough sport. I have my kids and I wish he [Tom] was around more often and had more presence,” Bündchen said in the interview.

Bündchen: “Must make decision myself “

In the past, the supermodel has always talked about how she is very busy with the children and the household and how her husband is all about sports. However, she also defended her husband’s decision to return to the NFL.

“I have talked to him about it regularly. Over and over again. But in the end, I also believe that everyone has to make a decision for themselves. He should pursue his great passion,” Bündchen explained. The 45-year-old quarterback started his 23rd NFL season in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ win over the Dallas Cowboys last weekend.

Interview took place before Brady’s absence

However, Gisele doesn’t seem entirely happy with her husband’s comeback, despite the statement. The interview with “Elle” took place a few weeks before Brady’s unfounded absence in Tampa Bay’s preparation. In August, the star quarterback was absent for eleven days – and there was much speculation that this had to do with the Brady family situation.
