Tom Brady apparently about to join Las Vegas Raiders.

Tom Brady continues to be involved with football after his career. Now he is said to become a part owner with the Las Vegas Raiders – but he would have no say in the franchise.

Quarterback legend Tom Brady is no longer active on the field, but is still heavily involved in the NFL.

According to “ESPN”, the 45-year-old is in intense talks with the Las Vegas Raiders to become part owner of the franchise.

No powers to Brady

It would be his second partnership with Raiders owner Mark Davis at a professional sports franchise in less than two months. In late March, Brady had announced that he had acquired a stake in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.

According to the report, talks regarding his stake in the Raiders have been ongoing for weeks and could end successfully soon, but the negotiations are still extremely delicate and have not yet been finalized.

Brady’s investment is expected to be “passive,” according to an “ESPN” source, and he would have no operational control or authority over the club, either in business or football matters.

Brady needs permission from team owners

Neither the NFL, the Raiders or Brady’s agent, Don Yee, commented on the story to “ESPN.”

If Brady and Davis were to reach an agreement, at least 24 team owners would have to review and approve Brady’s entry. That’s with all minority and majority owners.
