That is why Super Bowl winner LeSean McCoy is still unemployed

LeSean McCoy becomes champion with the Kansas City Chiefs in February – and is now a Free Agent. The 31-year-old is keen to continue playing, but signing is no easy task in the Corona crisis.

Free Agent LeSean McCoy most recently played for the Kansas City Chiefs, winning the Super Bowl in February with the team around quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

He is currently without a team.

However, the 31-year-old running back is not yet thinking of resigning. “I just want to play two more years,” McCoy told SiriusXM NFL Radio. He added: “My body still feels good. I’ll let my body decide when it’s over.”

McCoy’s 11th year in the NFL this season. He said that he has “some teams” in mind as new employers.

But the current corona crisis isn’t making it easy even for an NFL veteran like him. “Right now it’s tricky because you can’t visit anybody. There’s not as much interaction with the teams as usual.”

However, McCoy still has high expectations of his future team: “I want to join a winning team that’s got all the pieces together and is waiting for me.”

He’s currently planning on signing around the draft, the running back explained.

McCoy did not play for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl and was unable to show a consistent performance throughout the season.

However, with 11,071 Rushing Yards in his career so far, McCoy is third in the league among active players. Only Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson rank ahead of him.
