It is still unclear whether Rob Gronkowski will return to the NFL for the coming season. If the tight end has his way, he could make the decision on the fly at any time.
Munich – Rob Gronkowski at the NFL game in Munich against the Seattle Seahawks? Quite conceivable!
As the superstar tight end announced in an interview with the “New York Post”, he still hasn’t decided whether he will return to the NFL next season, but he doesn’t need much lead time if the worst comes to the worst.
Rob Gronkowski: Returning only to the Buccaneers
“I feel like I could come back to football at any time. It would probably only take me two weeks to be ready to play,” the 33-year-old explained. At the moment, “Gronk” is simply enjoying life: “It’s fun to get to know the other sides of life as well.”
Should he eventually decide to return to the NFL, it would be exclusively for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: “Then there’s only the Bucs for me. I love the team and the people there, it’s like family to me,” he told TMZ.”
Last season, Gronkowski totaled 802 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 12 games.
