In it, Owens can be seen at the Olympic Games in Paris supporting his wife as a spectator during their team gymnastics competition – and even wearing a cute fan T-shirt.

“Every time we can support each other, we’re really happy because our schedules don’t coordinate so well,” said Biles, delighted with her husband’s support beforehand.

But Owens wasn’t just there – armed with pen and paper, the muscleman sat in the stands and meticulously took notes on Biles’ competition, presumably for statistics on her performance.

Simone Biles: Her husband is an NFL pro

Although Owens is nowhere near as well-known as the five-time gold medal winner, his name is probably still familiar, especially to NFL fans.

Owens is a professional in the National Football League (NFL) and has been playing for the Chicago Bears since this season – where he signed a two-year contract for a total of almost five million dollars.

Before moving to Illinois, Bile’s husband played for the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans, playing 17 games each. The defensive back recorded 58 solo tackles and one sack for the Packers last season.

But why does Jonathan Owens even have the time to cheer on Simone Biles in her Olympic competitions? Preseason training camps are currently underway for all NFL teams, including his Chicago Bears.

Owens was actually released from his team so that he could watch his wife’s gymnastics competitions in Paris.

The athlete, whose full name is Simone Arianne Biles Owens, recently confirmed this to “USA Today”. “The Bears are actually giving him a couple days off from training camp, so he’ll be there, yes.”

For Owens, it is the first opportunity to see his wife perform at the Olympics, as strict Covid regulations were in place in Tokyo in 2021 and he did not have the opportunity to be by her side during the competitions
