Odell Beckham Jr. visiting the Giants – OBJ return to New York?

Odell Beckham Jr. is still healing from his torn ACL and is a free agent. While the LA Rams are just waiting to re-sign him, OBJ is paying a visit to another team

Munich – The Los Angeles Rams have to keep waiting and waiting to see if they can re-sign Odell Beckham Jr. or not. It might not even happen, because OBJ was apparently visiting another team.

According to a CBS Sports report, the wide receiver actually paid a visit to the New York Giants. So is OBJ really making a big return to the team that drafted him in the first round in 2014?

OBJ visit not official

That seems unlikely, according to the report. According to the report, it was merely a “non-official” visit. Rather, Beckham Jr. stopped by in New York to meet a few former teammates.

First and foremost, Sterling Shepard, who suffered a serious knee injury last week that means the receiver is out for the season.

What’s OBJ doing?

Just like OBJ, Shepard had also injured himself without opponent interference. For Beckham Jr, who is still recovering from his cruciate ligament tear from the Super Bowl, the cause is clear. He sees the reason for the injuries in the artificial turf and calls for playing only on grass in the future.

When the free agent is fit again, he could help some teams. Among them are the Giants, of all teams, who could still use someone in the wide receiver group after Shepard’s retirement. So whether the visit was really so “unofficial” remains to be seen.
