NFL: Tottenham to remain venue until at least 2029

The National Football League will retain a presence at Tottenham’s stadium for at least six more years.

The NFL will play at least two regular season games a year at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium in London until 2029.

The NFL further announced on Thursday that the state-of-the-art stadium in London will be given the official title of “Home of the NFL in the UK” by the league.

The globally increasingly popular American professional football league has already been playing regular games in London since 2007, since 2019 in the newly built stadium of the traditional football club Tottenham.

Two more NFL games in Europe this year will take place in Frankfurt in November. Last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played the first NFL regular season game on German soil in Munich against the Seattle Seahawks in front of a sell-out crowd.
