It has been clear for some time that the former star quarterback would become a TV pundit, and now the details are known.

However, these relate to Brady’s predecessor at “Fox”. Until now, Greg Olsen was the channel’s top TV expert.

Olsen also played in the NFL for a long time and was a tight end for the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears, among others.

In contrast to the fans, who are looking forward to Brady as a pundit, Olsen is probably not quite as excited about the TV arrival of the “GOAT”.

According to a report in the “New York Post”, Brady’s start as a TV pundit will ultimately be accompanied by a substantial pay cut for Olsen.

Olsen receives seven million dollars less

According to the report, Olsen previously had a TV contract worth ten million US dollars a year. Because Brady is now replacing the 39-year-old as the number one pundit, Olsen will have to accept a 70 percent pay cut.

This means that Olsen will only receive three million US dollars a year instead of ten million. And he is now only part of the second team of experts at “Fox” – just behind Brady.

Brady’s first game as a TV pundit has already been confirmed. The longtime top quarterback of the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will commentate and analyze the Week 1 game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns.
