Scott Hanson has been the face of the original NFL conference “RedZone” for years. Now the 53-year-old has announced that nothing will change in the coming season.
Numerous NFL fans – not only in the US, but also in Germany – spend their Sundays with Scott Hanson.
The 53-year-old is the cult presenter of the NFL conference “RedZone,” which shows all touchdowns.
He has been hosting the show since 2009 and will continue to be the face of ‘RedZone’ in 2025. Hanson announced this on Friday on “X,” exactly 100 days before the first NFL Sunday.
“100 days from now until NFL RedZone. And for those wondering: Yes, I will be there. We will see a LOT of touchdowns together,” Hanson wrote.
100 days from now = NFL RedZone.
(& for those wondering: Yes, I *will* be there. We have A LOT of Touchdowns to watch together!) NFLRedZone

Hanson had to apologize for trademark
It was actually unclear whether Hanson would continue to host “RedZone” in the future. His contract with NFL Network, which produces the show, expired at the end of last season. Now it has apparently been extended.
During his time as host of “RedZone,” he established his own trademark by shouting “Seven hours of commercial-free football start now!” at the beginning of each broadcast.
However, there were sporadic commercials on “RedZone” last season, which is why Hanson publicly apologized for the phrase after the first broadcast in which commercials were shown.
