NFL legend Rob Gronkowski annoyed by “Baby Gronk”.

Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski is a true NFL legend. But in the USA, a little boy called “Baby Gronk” is currently making more headlines – also because his father wants to make his son big. The real “Gronk” has had enough of that now.

There’s a ten-year-old boy living in Texas who plays football very well. More than 300,000 people follow “Baby Gronk”, whose real name is Madden San Miguel, on Instagram.

There they see Madden, born in 2012, pulling a car on a leash, Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg playing with Madden’s “Baby Gronk” diamond necklace, and Babby Gronk catching a touchdown with a dummy in his mouth.

The real Gronk, NFL legend Rob Gronkowski, also caught wind of the kid long ago. In a recent video podcast, the four-time Super Bowl winner said he was considering a restraining order: “The father is so annoying!” The latter had called Gronkowski’s brother “500 times,” the former tight end blasphemed on camera.

“This is definitely going too far and it makes me very uncomfortable. “

“Baby Gronk” is actually named Madden San Miguel and was named after “NFL Madden “

The father of the celebrity child is Jake San Miguel. He’s 36 years old and used to hope for a pro football career himself before tearing his ACL.

“I had this plan for him before he was even born,” San Miguel said of his son Madden, who is named after the console game “Madden NFL.”

“You know, the thing is, when the father cuts grass for a living, he teaches his son how to cut grass,” he recently told “Football Scoop.” The Texan continued, “The only thing I know how to do is sports, so I just taught my son sports.”

Madden trains five to six times a week in an air-conditioned hall with artificial turf for his dream. A personal trainer does NFL-type exercises with him, such as route running or ladder drills. At home, the pre-teen eats mostly brown rice and salmon.

Madden San Miguel (10) is expected to make the NFL as a running back

He’s supposed to become a running back. Currently, the fourth-grader plays against boys three years older than him, whom he whizzes past – it’s easy to see on YouTube – as if they were blades of grass. Variability will be even more important for running backs in the future, says his dad, which is why Madden also plays baseball, lacrosse and fights jiu-jitsu on the side.

Training methods that don’t meet with universal approval. “Kids should be allowed to be kids,” thinks J.J. Watt, who played for the Houston Texans for nine years. “No kid should train like a pro before high school,” the former NFL star wrote on Twitter under a post about Madden.

His son, however, is not a normal kid but an athlete, the father tells “The Athletic”: “Normal kids are emotional, they hang their heads, but he doesn’t do that.” Madden has been “programmed” to do this since he was six, and his younger sister is now six herself and already has a basketball highlight video, San Miguel continues.

Baby Gronk earns $100,000 a year, father advises “Mini Mahomes “

The 36-year-old has since built a career for himself. He used to work in the music industry, in IT and as a personal trainer. Today he runs his own marketing consultancy. His clients are 350 “young athletes” whom he helps with social media marketing. In doing so, he represents, among others “Mini Mahomes” – a sixth-grader whom Patrick Mahomes has already met.

“Man, I’m 36 years old. I’ve already lived my life,” he finds. About $100,000 a year, Madden currently earns, he says. “I’m pretty much putting everything away for my kids so they have a future. “
