The first of nine open jobs in the NFL could soon be filled: John Harbaugh is said to have already made his decision, and all signs point to him becoming head coach of the New York Giants.

Is everything moving very quickly for John Harbaugh?

According to ESPN, the 63-year-old and the New York Giants are already working on a contract following their joint interview.

“If there are no setbacks, then everything points to Harbaugh becoming the Giants’ next head coach,” says NFL insider Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter, although details such as contract length and salary still need to be worked out, there is overall agreement on hiring the former head coach of the Baltimore Ravens.

Harbaugh had his first in-person interview with the Giants on Wednesday.
He is also scheduled to meet with the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans, but only virtually.

The Giants want to introduce Harbaugh as their new head coach “as soon as possible.”
