NFL – “He was huge!” Who did Tom Brady fear the most?

Even a “GOAT” naturally had a lot of respect for his opponents. A few even taught him to fear them.

Was someone like Tom Brady afraid of an opponent?

The NFL legend revealed this on Logan Paul’s podcast.

When asked who he feared the most when it came to getting hit, the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback named several players.

Tom Brady: Lewis is at the top

“Ray Lewis is at the top,” Brady said. “Ndamukong Suh — I didn’t like getting hit by him. J.J. Watt wasn’t much fun to get hit by. And Haloti Ngata, remember him? He weighed about 340 pounds. He was huge.”

Brady was sacked 565 times in the regular season and 81 times in the postseason during his NFL career, which is unsurprisingly a record given his long career.

Fun fact: Lewis only sacked Brady once.

Brady’s ability to take a hit so well was mainly down to his training, he revealed. “When you get hit, you need a certain amount of discipline with your body,” Brady said. “Because if you screw up, you get hurt. You don’t mess around with training – otherwise you pay the price when someone like Aaron Donald is chasing you.”

Interestingly, all of the players Brady mentioned have only managed to sack him relatively rarely. Former defensive end Aaron Schobel tops the list, collecting a whopping twelve sacks against the “GOAT” for the Buffalo Bills. Aaron Donald only managed three.
